I've studied art, in one fashion or another, my entire life. I have been fortunate to have studied with some of the world's most renowned teachers. My education in jewelry making started in the '70s at the University of Houston, with the lost wax method and from there, I moved into jewelry fabrication. In addition, there are many other forms of art with which I have experience. My interest in beading began over eight years ago. I quickly excelled in many of the techniques I was learning and soon began creating my own unique designs. I enjoy the art of beading immensely and it has really become a passion for me.

My creative juices flow at all times of the day or night. There are many nights, when I can get caught up in the design of a new creation, and I will work through the night and into the next day. Thank goodness I have a wonderful husband who supports my artistic endeavors. As you can see from the photo on this page, my faithful sidekicks are always with me. They always are by my side, showing their support, and are too courteous to criticize.

The newest craze in jewelry making is ART CLAY. This unique design form provides the user with an infinite means for developing original artwork pieces. It is extremely exciting to work with ...the only limit is the limit you put on your own imagination. Approved by the ACMI (Art and Creative Materials Institute).

ART CLAY has allowed me not only to make my own clasps and beads but has provided me with a means to make custom jewelry even more exciting and distinctive than before. My custom design pieces are marvelous creations that are fabulous to own. I know my customers enjoy wearing my designs as much as I have enjoyed making them.
